Smart Class:
We have introduced ten DIGI SMART Board class rooms now. Our teachers make excellent use of it and hold audio visual smart classes to make an in depth impact on learner's mind. The class rooms, laboratories and all other facilities are naturally well-lit and well ventilated.
Arts & Crafts:
At Aatreya, Arts and Crafts form part of the curriculum on par with other subjects. Music, Dance and Theatre Training is imparted to interested Children at Aatreya.
Note Worthy Points:
- Come to school in proper uniform. Polish your shoes regularly. Keep your nails clipped and hair neatly cut. Do not wear ornaments. Remember to wear your identity card.
- Report to school in time. Irregular attendance, habitual late coming will invite disciplinary action. Attending the morning assembly is compulsory.
- Seek permission from the Principal before going to the class if you have arrived late.
- Use of filthy language may put you in trouble.
- You are not permitted to make collection for any purpose in the school without seeking prior permission from the school.
- You will celebrate your birthday by distributing two toffees only. Distribution of gifts is prohibited.
- Circulation of books , periodicals , pictures or newspaper is prohibited except those allowed by the School Principal.
- No gifts on 5th Sep. will be entertained.
Rules & Regulations:
School Discipline:
- Regular attendance from the first day after each vacation is mandatory. Unexcused absences will result in the student's removal from the college rolls.
- The school assembly sets the tone for the day and is of utmost importance. All students must participate, beginning with prayer and attentiveness to announcements.
- All students are required to arrive at school prepared with completed homework and well-organized lesson materials, including Art & Craft supplies, as per the schedule.
- Students are encouraged to converse in English within the school premises, aiming for fluency and maintaining a high standard of communication.
- Bringing valuable items unrelated to academic activities and not approved by the principal is discouraged.
- Students must demonstrate respect towards their teachers and elders both within and outside the school campus.
- Possession or use of mobile phones or other portable communication devices on the college campus is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in device confiscation and student suspension.
- In case of emergencies, students may use the college phone for necessary calls.
- It is advised for students to avoid carrying large amounts of cash.
- Students expecting to return home late must inform their parents in advance.
- Failure to deposit fees within the stipulated time will result in the removal of the student's name. Re-enrollment will require payment of a re-admission fee.
Dress Code and Appearance:
- Students are expected to dress neatly in the official school uniform, reflecting pride both within the school premises and in public. Shoes must be well-maintained, and ties should be worn appropriately. Belts are essential components of the boys' uniform.
- Shirts must remain tucked in at all times.
- Boys' hair should be tidy, with a natural color, and trimmed above collar and ear levels. Girls' hair should be of a natural color and tied back if longer than shoulder length. The use of makeup is prohibited.
- School sports attire is permissible for travel to and from school solely on approved occasions or during sporting events.
- Each student is obligated to adhere to the designated uniform. Boys are strictly prohibited from wearing overly loose or slim-fitting trousers.
- All students must ensure attendance at classes and other school functions in full compliance with the uniform policy. It is imperative that their attire adheres strictly to the approved guidelines. Students found without proper uniform attire will be required to return home.
Leave Rules:
- Once in the school you will not be allowed to leave the school during the school hours. Half day leave is not permissible except in an emergency.
- Submit an application when on leave. In case of sickeness attach a medical certificate with the application.
- A re-admission fee as decided by the school will be charged if the leave exceeds a period of 15days.
- 75% of attendance in a year is compulsory to take the final examination.
- Absence from school during test/ examination will not be condoned except in case of illness provided intimated the same day.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
- Absolute adherence to school rules and regulations is mandatory from the onset of each term. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
- The school assembly serves as a pivotal aspect of the daily routine. All students must participate, commencing with prayer and attentiveness to announcements.
- Preparedness is key. Students are expected to arrive at school with completed homework and necessary materials, including Art & Craft supplies, as per the timetable.
- English proficiency is encouraged within school premises to foster effective communication skills.
- Valuable items unrelated to academic pursuits and not authorized by the principal should not be brought to school.
- Respect towards teachers and elders is non-negotiable, extending beyond school grounds.
- Mobile phones or portable communication devices are strictly prohibited on campus. Violations will result in immediate confiscation and student suspension.
- College phones may be used for essential calls during emergencies only.
- Carrying excessive cash is strongly discouraged.
- Students anticipating late returns home must inform their parents in advance.
- Non-payment of fees within the specified timeframe will result in the removal of the student's name. Reinstatement will require payment of a re-admission fee.
Rules and Regulations for Fee deposit:
- Fee must be deposited at school counter within due date.
- A late fee of Rs. 5/- per day shall be levied after the due date.
- If a student fails to pay the school dues within the specified period, his/her name will be strucked off the rolls approval from the Principal. Full payment of school dues and fine as well as readmission charges as decided by the school will also have to be paid.
- Management reserves the right to increase the monthly fee with prior notice.
- No discount shall be asked by any one regarding any fee.
Important Points:
- Absence from the test/examination is not permitted.
- The student absenting himself/herself from a test/examination will not be re-tested/ re-examined and will lose the credits of the missed test/ examination in the cumulative scores.
- 3.75% attendance in a year is compulsory to make you eligible to take your final examination.
- Use of any unfair means during examination will lead to rustication from the school.
- Report cards should be signed by the parents and returned to the class teacher within three days of receipt of the same.
- Scholastic badges will be awarded to students for class V onwards to students who score an aggregate of 80% and above. Merits certificates will be awarded to students who score at least 85% in three subjects.
- A special merit certificate will be awarded to those students who have shown significant improvement over his/her previous level of achievement
